About

Savior Sole is both a declaration for the believer and an exhortation for the seeker.

I created SaviorSole.com primarily as a posting library for various studies I’ve written over years. I make no claims as an authority on any topic or subject, but merely rely on the Scriptures and plain literal interpretation unless the Scriptures themselves provide an allegorical meaning (such as in Revelation 1:20Revelation 1:20
English: King James Version (1611) - KJV

I personally use the 1611 King James Version, and believe that it is more accurate than most newer editions such as “The Living Bible.” (My recent study “Why Words Matter” was an example of this.) However, when it comes to studies, I rely mainly on the Interlinear feature in my PowerBible software. This feature inserts the original Hebrew or Greek text and links directly to Strong’s Concordance; then allows you to search that word for every other time it appears in the Bible. This gives context. If a word means¬† one thing seventeen other times, then it’s a fair bet that it means that thing this time as well.

The only task you can accomplish is to agree with God in this, and believe payment to be made for you by God, through the death of Jesus Christ on the cross.  (John 6:29John 6:29

The Goel transcends space, time and Ages. This is why – before there was “Israel,” before any heir of David ever sat upon a throne in Jerusalem – Job himself could say:

“For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth. And though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God!” (Job 19:25-26Job 19:25-26

Having clarified my difference from a classical “dispensationalist,” I will however state that I do believe that God has a set sequence of times and events, and that the order of some of these events may be understood – and are meant to be understood. Not all, but some. I also hold, once again, that the most reliable method of interpretation is a plain literal reading of the test unless otherwise stated as allegory. I also hold that one should seek for contextual confirmation if it is available (for instance, the similarities between passages in Revelation and Ezekiel, and so forth.)

But again, let me say clearly: Thinking we know the sequences of future events in God’s timeline earns us nothing with God. The only thing we have earned from God is wrath, anger, and hellfire. We do not impress Him with what we do for Him (Matthew 7:22Matthew 7:22
English: King James Version (1611) - KJV

22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. 12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. 13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. hell: or, the grave 14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire.
